Frankfort Girls!

We met at Terry's yesterday for a morning of quilting and catching up. Terry has been camping at the fair all week, so I brought the goodies. This is a recipe from Pinterest called Summer Berry Custard Bars. Quite good; refreshing with a mix of raspberries and blackberries.

Here are the projects we worked on. Gosh we've been busy! At least some of us!! Sheryll had all sorts of things near the finishing up stage. Mostly gifts, too, for family.

Sheryll is preparing this baby quilt for a niece who is soon to become a mother. Such fun animal faces, and the green used in the setting blocks is fresh and fun, too. She has only the binding to stitch. Nicely done!

Adding to the appeal, the faces can also be applied to baby bibs! Sheryll has attached these to terrycloth, and is in the process of finishing them up. So cute.

Sheryll's 3 young nephews drew these pictures last summer; now she has transferred them to fabric and is preparing this cool wall hanging for her sister, their mother. Isn't this a great idea?? (Notice the Ohio State references??? Glad they've been raised right!)

Sharon O. had a pretty Christmas table runner to show us. She is putting the finishing touches on the binding. I never think to get Christmas things done in the summer time, when it makes sense. I'm the type to tear into a Christmas project a week before Christmas!

Terry had this mountain of well-organized quilt units that needed pressing. She got them all done!

She is making a Bonnie Blue quilt, one that she was working on a couple of weeks ago when we had a day of quilting at her house. Click here to see those details, if you are so inclined.

JoAnn had another commitment, so was not with us this week. I continued to quilt my little Schnibbles. I suppose I should take an updated picture of it, just to prove that I am actually accomplishing something!

That's all for now! Happy Quilting, Friends!
