Every now and then I find myself going back to my Farmer's Wife book and patterns with a desire to make another block. It's easy to finish just one more, and over a couple of years now, I have accumulated quite a few blocks for this quilt.
I hand pieced this block earlier in the week. Started it on Monday when the girls were here, and finished it up on Tuesday morning.
Someday I am going to do a blog post about the big messy box of fabric I've created as a result of the ongoing making of blocks from this book. It will be a daunting task to straighten out -- someday.
Do you keep ongoing projects around to work on "just because?"
