Productivity was the name of the game at our recently-completed retreat. We got a lot done!
From Becky, we had this pretty little snowman quilt. The snowman panels are all embroidered; if you click on the picture, you might be able to get an enlarged view.
Terry had several finishes, all just beautiful. She was finishing up the last of her fall-oriented projects with these two table toppers/wall hangings.
Sheryll had some impressive finishes, too. We all were 'oohing and ahhing' over this striking house quilt with the subtle, neutral background. She had appliqued the houses of wool prior to coming, so all she had to do was construct the top. Isn't it a beauty?
Sheryll also made a 3-yard quilt using Ohio State fabric plus scarlet and gray. This pattern is called Crossroads.
Finally, Sheryll worked on this very, very pretty Christmas quilt - red and white stars; green and white stars and a gorgeous paisley for setting blocks. I will definitely take a picture of this when finished to share here. There is a tiny glimpse of the setting fabric in the lower right corner.
Jan had two finishes, as well. One is a shop-hop quilt that she has already made into a quilt top - and the shop hop was just last month! That's fast turn-around time!
The other finish is this beauty called Hideaway by Camille Roskelly of Thimbleblossoms. This was a kit she'd bought awhile ago, and Jan had worked on this briefly at our August retreat. It is Layer Cake friendly and so very adorable.
Susan - not in Frankfort Girls, but a friend from the Circleville Guild - made dinosaurs. Pink dinosaurs! Yes, the cutest little blocks with a lot of fussy little parts! But the resulting blocks are so darling!
These blocks are from the pattern Dinosaurs by Elizabeth Hartman. Susan has made one of these already, and now has a second little girl needing a dinosaur quilt. Lucky little girl!
Another project that Susan worked on briefly was this one called Busy Hands Quilts. The original is made with lots of white background, while Susan's will be pink.
Hope you enjoyed the parade!
Happy Quilting, Friends!
