2014 Quilts

1.
Tapestry, started in 2013, finished 1-11-14. Fabric is
Morris Apprentice by Barbara Brackman.

2.

Pink Lemonade, a doll quilt/table topper made a couple of years ago; finished in January for the UFO challenge.

3.
February's UFO for the UFO Challenge; the quilt block is a copy of the Garman's barn quilt; I turned it into a pillow that will be given to them.

4.
American Patchwork and Quilting magazine had  quilt-along that I joined; this is the resulting effort. Burgoyne Surrounded. Quilt top finished in March.

5.

This is Broken Dishes, my first love from Kaffe Fassett. It had been hanging in my sewing closet since 2011, but had been started well before that! I took bride-to-be Erin "shopping" in  this closet and this is what she picked out for a bridal shower gift. It is wonderful to see it finished and being used by the newlyweds. Finished in March.

6.
Midwinter Blues, a quilt along project with Lori at Humble Quilts blog. Finished in March.

7.
A table runner pieced at Mary's Barn in Grove City. Finished for March's UFO deadline.

8.
The Delph t-shirt quilt finished in mid-April as a college graduation gift.

9.
A chevron quilt for Paul and Ali (Schmidt) Davis for their newborn Jackie in May.

10.
Carson's Courtyard became a wedding quilt given to Adam and Jenna Schmidt in May.

11.
Eventide, a Miss Rosie Quilt Co. pattern, started at quilt camp (June) and finished in August; made with Roman Holiday Fabric.

12.

The Burnett t-shirt quilt, finished in September.

13.
Cheddar and Crackers, a doll quilt made from a QAL with Lori at Humble Quilts. Hand-quilted using the "free form" method introduced to me by Lori Simpson at the Trunk Show she had at Old Town Fabrics in August. Finished Nov. 1.

14.

Adam's t-shirt quilt; on the UFO list; finished and delivered for Christmas.

15.

This was part of the UFO Challenge. It was paper-pieced umpteen years ago. My goal was to finish the quilt top.

16. and 17.

Before the Alpha Sig Bash, I made pillows to spruce up the chairs and sofas.

18. and 19.

Two more pillows.

20.

A 5th pillow.

21. and 22.

The gold pillows make #s 6 and 7 total pillows.

23.

And another of the new pillows is this paisley one.

24.

These 2 Christmas pillows are the last of my finishes for 2014. These were for the UFO Challenge.
