Snacks

I will take a break from cutting fabric to ask a burning question.

Do you snack while you sew? Confession: sometimes, I do.

Pistachios and Jolly Ranchers. Strange combination, I know. When I want something salty, I go with the nuts. When I want something sweet, I go with the hard candy.

Back to cutting.

Happy Quilting, Friends!

  1. That is an interesting combo Jayne! I'm one of those low willpower people so I keep snacks out of my quilting room... Out of sight out of mind. I used to do my cutting on the kitchen counter and was well aware of my weakness!

  2. I'm not a snacker, but I always have a large cup of water. I have a special covered cup with a a straw that stays in the sewing room.

  3. I have to say it never even crosses my mind, which means that quilting must be good for me doesn't it cos it keeps me away from food.

  4. Not that big on eating while sewing, but would devour those pistachios if I was reading. The only food that comes to the sewing room is my coffee and as I look around I see it is time to take some cups back downstairs and maybe get a refill or two

  5. No, I don't. I snack too often any way! I try to keep my sewing food free, because I hate to get sticky fingers and have to interrupt my sewing to go and wash hands etc.
