A few weeks back, I finished up the third quilt in my experiment with sizes - the quilt was called Thrifty, and you can read about it here.
Well, luck would have it that I made too many 4-patch units. I had a big stack of them leftover. Hmmm, what to do with them....
I decided to do a Jacob's Ladder quilt. I scrounged around and located several tan/neutrals and several dark reds/burgundy fat quarters. And then I got busy. Triangle units galore!!
And voila! Just like that, I'm on my way to a totally unplanned, but very exciting new quilt top!
