Hettie's baby quilt, needed by this Saturday, is now finished and will be back in her hands later today. It is a small quilt - just 38"x52" - and didn't take long to do at all. The time-consuming part was the snarled stitches that occurred after the bobbin change on Tuesday. I stewed about it for awhile, researched probable issues, and got back to work on it yesterday. Whew! I am so glad the problem was one I could fix.
My first "customer" quilting job! Thankfully, it was small and the customer, my Frienzie, Hettie, was forgiving in her expectations.
Now back to getting more practice on my own quilts. I hope to have one loaded on before the week is out.
Next up, though, I have a trip with Terry tomorrow, and some Ohio Star blocks to make. A week from now I will be back to school, so I am trying to make the most of my remaining free time.
Happy Quilting, Friends!
The quilting looks lovely! Glad you figured out the problem.
